EPIC

Tools that take the hard, repetitive work off the ladder.

EPIC stands for Enhancing Productivity in Construction. We build task-specific robots for the trades. Each one does one job on the jobsite, and does it the same way every time.

Meet Drill Master Raise your hand

Built for the work crews repeat a thousand times a job.

Every building gets drilled, hung and roughed in, and a lot of that work still happens by hand off a ladder. EPIC builds tools that each take on one of those repetitive tasks, so crews spend less time climbing and reaching, and more time on the work that needs a skilled hand.

One job per tool. Done right.

The first EPIC tool

Epic Drill Master

Set it in the stud bay. It climbs the studs, cuts holes into the top plate for pipe, wire and duct, and comes back down. No ladder goes up.

An EPIC tool in development

Hanger Master

It travels along an overhead framing member and installs threaded-rod hanger anchors at set spacings, so pipe, conduit and duct runs go up with fewer ladder moves.

Not a do-everything robot. A tool for one job.

We're not building a humanoid that tries to do everything. Each EPIC tool is built around one task the trades repeat on every job. That keeps the machine simpler, easier to test and easier to trust on a real jobsite, and each new tool builds on what the last one taught us.

Built by a plumber with over 20 years in the trade.

I'm Tony Savino. I've worked in plumbing for over 20 years, and I've drilled about 15,000 holes by hand, most of them off a ladder. EPIC started in my garage with one question: why are we still doing this the hard way? Drill Master is the first answer. It won't be the last.
